REVIEW

I was at that show. Good times. I went with elfactor from the fatwreckwiki. Here's what we had to say about the show.

Elfactor
Hey, back from the Paris show. It was a good show, not awesome, but just great. I managed to talk with some guys of the band before and after the show. Scott is a very nice guy. Fat Mike was tired and/or stoned. Spike was nice too, Joey was small, and Dave wasn't there

I complained about the price of the show which was way too expensive when I was talking to Fat Mike before the show. And during the set, he told that if it was a 15 € show, it would be ok. But as it was 25 € (it was 33 in fact...), they're gonna play an extra song; and they played 2 that wasn't on the setlist. So at the end, after "Don't let the sun", they played "Only the good die young" and "Science fiction". I was really happy they played Only the Good, that's the song which made me know the Gimmes. They didn't play Rocket Man but The End Of The Road instead. After the show, I had to wake up Nick who was sleeping on the ground near Kent, in front of the soundboard :p That's all I can remember for now that seems interesting (is it??)

Oh yeah, there wasn't shirts anymore in XL, so if someone's going to a UK show, can he/she get me a tour shirt (with dates in back) in XL please? Would be great, I was pissed off, the L was too small...

Nick

Yeah... thanks for that (waking me up) man i really need to stop drinking at shows.

One guy started strangling me during the show, for no reason (that i can remember...).

After the gig was the best part for me. I had a nice talk with Audra (Spike's wife) then Spike joined, he was very kind.

I asked him for the new album's theme. He hesitated and Audra said he shouldn't say it. I think he ended up giving me a hint by saying "divas" but i'm not 100% sure.

i also talked with Scott. He's the nicest guy, very cool.

then Mike came out and walked straight to the bus but i intercepted him an gave him a giant hug.

thanks to the gimmes and elfactor for a fun night in Paris.
fuck you crazy strangler!
